Full-Time Sales Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment, particularly within a grocery store setting. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their shopping needs, maintaining the sales floor, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Duties • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store. • Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and promotions. • Process transactions accurately using cash registers and handle cash with care. • Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise effectively. • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including displays and product arrangements. • Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and pricing adjustments. • Adhere to company policies regarding phone etiquette when handling customer calls. • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements • Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environment is preferred. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. • Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail transactions. • Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math concepts is advantageous. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. • A positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
