Role Summary Our Mid‑Market Healthcare Technology client is seeking a Full‑Stack Software Engineer to build, enhance, and maintain mission‑critical applications that support patient care operations. You will work across the stack using Node.js, TypeScript, React, and AWS to deliver secure, scalable digital health solutions. What You’ll Do • Develop and deploy scalable full‑stack web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Python. • Build REST / GraphQL APIs and data services integrated with PostgreSQL / MySQL**, and optimize data access with Redis. • Deploy and manage workloads on AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch) with attention to uptime and cost efficiency. • Collaborate across engineering and product teams via Agile sprints, Git, and Jira, ensuring consistent delivery. • Troubleshoot and resolve live production issues impacting patient care systems. AI‑Assisted Development Expectations Our client embraces AI‑enhanced software practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining reliability standards required in healthcare environments. You will be expected to: • Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisperer, ChatGPT Extensions) to accelerate code drafting and edge‑case detection. • Validate and debug any AI‑generated code to ensure performance, security, and HIPAA‑compliant handling of protected health data. • Leverage LLMs to suggest code refactoring, test generation, and documentation—but maintain strict human‑in‑the‑loop verification before commit and deploy. • Demonstrate familiarity with AI‑aided logging or code review tooling as part of CI/CD pipelines. • Understand how to evaluate bias, accuracy, and privacy exposure introduced by AI outputs when working with healthcare data. • Your expertise in AI‑human collaboration will be assessed during technical exercises. Education & Experience • 3–6 years of full‑stack development experience with deployment in production environments. • Strong command of JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS. • Solid experience in SQL schema design, stored procedures, and query optimization. • Working knowledge of Docker and build pipelines. • Strong debugging and problem‑solving ability under production pressure. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline—or equivalent demonstrable project experience.
