Automated investing app Grifin was founded in 2017. Grifin exists to give people a simple, approachable and secure way to own a slice of the companies they shop at daily. What You Will Do:

Develop cross platform mobile UI using React Native / JS

Participate in software design for new features

Work independently and own immediate work

Work closely with product management to offer guidance and technical feasibility of feature requests

Collaborate with other engineers to ensure best methods and techniques are used in development

Collaborate with the design team to turn figma mocks into mobile UI

Use data to proactively identify and fix friction points within the application

Triage, debug, and resolve product issues

Develop and modify Node.js to enable React Native features

What You Will Need:

3+ years of professional software engineering experience

2+ years of experience developing React Native applications

1+ years of experience writing server-side and API development experience

In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, React

A curious mind, advanced critical thinking abilities, and sound judgment with a risk mitigation mindset

What Could Set You Apart:

Hands on experience with Plaid’s SDK

Experience with React / React Native technologies such as Fabric, Hermes, and JSI

An eye for UI/UX and the ability to take any mock and turn it into real screens
