Functional Testing Engineer

We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Functional Testing Engineer to strengthen our growing team.

In this position, you will manage the crafting, design, and execution of functional tests to assess both the quality and performance of software applications.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of test plan, test case, and test script creation and maintenance
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test evaluations
• Leadership in functional testing initiatives, analysis of test outcomes, and identification of issues
• Mentorship for junior testing engineers and guidance on optimal testing practices
• Oversight of test environments, test data, and essential testing tools for functional testing

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in QA
• Deep understanding of testing principles and functional testing techniques
• Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, TestComplete, or UFT
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
• Capability to create detailed test cases from system requirements
• Previous experience in software development, quality assurance, or related roles
