Furniture Sales Associate

Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their needs, managing transactions, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services. • Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices. • Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales. • Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing displays. • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. • Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve customer satisfaction. • Supervise junior staff when necessary to ensure smooth operations. Experience • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. • Familiarity with retail math and basic math skills to manage transactions effectively. • Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers for efficient checkout processes. • Experience in grocery store environments is a plus but not mandatory. • Ability to communicate effectively; bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service. • Willingness to learn new product information and sales techniques.
