Game Designer (World of Warships: Legends, Console and Mobile)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a Game Designer to join the Core Gameplay Team for the cross-platform game World of Warships: Legends.

World of Warships: Legends is one of the best naval games around, letting you take the command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players.

Core Gameplay Team is engaged in the creation and balance of ships, commanders, game modes, and mechanics.

What will you do?

• Design, implement, and balance new gameplay and content features for World of Warships Legends

• Partner with internal and external teams to execute development goals

• Work with the analytics team to optimize and improve day-to-day user behavior

• Create and support game design documentation 

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of Game Design experience 

• Solid understanding of moment-to-moment gameplay (3Cs, weapons, abilities, etc.) 

• Positive attitude and ability to accept feedback, working in a multidisciplinary team

• Upper-intermediate English to participate in daily meetings and discussions with English-speaking teammates

• Be aware of industry trends, and know a wide range of games across multiple platforms and genres with a general understanding of the main game design approaches and principles

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience in designing balance for PvP games

• Programming experience

• UX/UI design understanding
