Plumber Plumbers safely installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes of utility construction projects. Plumbers collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure company procedures are followed. What is Required? • 3-5 Years field experience or Military equivalent • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices • Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted • Excellent problem-solving skills • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements • Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs • Experience working in construction is a plus • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment • Ability and willingness to travel as needed • • Ability to maintain valid driver’s license • Walking 100% of the day on uneven ground • Squatting 50% of the day • Kneeling 50% of the day • Standing 100% of the day • Working with small hand tools for 30% of the day • Working in outside environment 100% of the day • May work more than 8 hours a day • Will lift more than 75 lbs. 30% of the day • Will lift at least 50 lbs. 50% of the day This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
