- 1 week of call coverage per month (24 hour call) 7am-7am
- BC/BE
- ERCP/EUS is a plus but not required
- About 12-15 consults per day
- Support staff - 2 MDs, 3 APPs
- Conducting consultations with patients to understand their health concerns and symptoms related to the digestive system.
- Performing a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and ERCP procedures to diagnose conditions.
- Analyzing patient medical histories and diagnostic test results to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing treatment plans, ensuring they are in line with patients' needs and preferences.
- A Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in gastroenterology, with a focus on ERCP procedures and general GI practices.
- Excellent diagnostic skills with a patient-centric approach to care.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
- Current and valid license to practice medicine in the state.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary.
