Baptist Health Medical Louisville is Growing and seeking BC/BE general and advanced gastroenterologists for the Louisville team.Practice Overview
  • Eight employed physicians and eight employed APCs support daily hospital rounds and clinic volume
  • High-volume, open-access endoscopy program
  • Broad referral base from Baptist Health-employed primary care providers and affiliated providers
  • Weekend call is one weekend every seven weekends
  • Inpatient hospital coverage:
    • Physicians provide one week of daytime coverage and one week of nighttime coverage every six weeks
    • Additional compensation provided per shift for hospital coverage
  • Clinic and endoscopy schedules tailored to physician preference with block time
  • Baptist Health Louisville provides:
    • 24/7 anesthesia coverage for endoscopy procedures
    • 24/7 ICU intensivist coverage, which decreases nighttime call volume
  • Epic electronic health record system integrated across all hospital and practice locations
