The GE Vernova Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) accelerates development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, materials, and quality) functions at GE Vernova across the Power and Electrification segments.

Job Description

What you'll do:

OMLP is a two-year entry-level rotational program consisting of four 6-month rotations that allow members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging assignments and world-class training. Training topics include lean, functional expertise (EHS, quality, materials, sourcing, manufacturing engineering, etc.), as well as leadership and personal development topics.

There are 3 mandatory rotation opportunities every OMLP will complete:

• Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor (people leader of hourly workforce)
• Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow)
• Technical (quality, lean, manufacturing engineer / process engineer)

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications):

• BS or MS in Engineering or Supply Chain. Supply chain degrees should have hands on manufacturing experience.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in Switzerland
• Desire to stay in Switzerland post completion of the OMLP program
• Overall GPA (or equivalent) greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 (without rounding).
• Prior work experience - including but not limited to work in a manufacturing setting (internship or associate)
• No more than 2 years of full-time industry experience
• Open to relocation (within home country. There are no international rotations)
• Fluent in German. English professional level.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: All CVs must be submitted in English

• Prior intern or co-op experience in manufacturing and lean
• A major in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
• Ability to solve problems in a team / manufacturing environment
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to connect with all levels of the organization, innovation-driven, customer-focused, lean mindset, team player, and accountable
• A strong commitment to a career in manufacturing/supply chain

Relocation requirement: All rotations will be in Switzerland. There are no international rotations. Must be willing to stay in one of the hiring cities upon completion of the program.
