General Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities • Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are clean and sanitized. • Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Handle janitorial tasks such as waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies as needed. • Conduct industrial cleaning duties in accordance with safety protocols and guidelines. • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are well-kept and functional. • Provide porter services when necessary, ensuring the premises are presentable at all times. • Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory. • Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. • Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing and maintenance is advantageous. • Experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance will be considered an asset. • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards while performing cleaning tasks. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
