General Construction Laborer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This role is essential in executing various construction and renovation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in carpentry and related trades, contributing to the successful completion of projects from start to finish. Responsibilities • Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry work. • Execute flooring installation, ensuring proper alignment and finishing. • Apply caulking and stucco for weatherproofing and aesthetic purposes. • Assist in drywall installation and finishing, including taping and mudding. • Conduct tile laying with precision for both flooring and wall applications. • Participate in water damage restoration efforts, repairing affected areas effectively. • Engage in construction painting, preparing surfaces and applying paint as needed. • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Experience • Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction industry is preferred. • Familiarity with electrical work is a plus but not mandatory. • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods. • Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
