General Ledger Accountant

At HeadQuarters, we believe that finance is the backbone of any successful company. That's why we are seeking an engaging General Ledger Accountant to join our team in the accounting department. As a General Ledger Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting by maintaining detailed records of all financial transactions. You will verify the accuracy of financial data and reconcile accounts on a regular basis. Additionally, you will provide support for other functions within the accounting department. Working time for this role will be 9 to 5 PST (USA Time).
Responsibilities:

• Recurring Journal Entries
• Month End Journal Entries
• Amortization
• Fixed Assets
• Depreciation
• Prepare bank accounts reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and ensure that the depreciation and amortization schedules are accurate.
• Assist with monthly closing process and preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support audit requirements by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with different departments within the organization to verify the accuracy of financial data.
• Other tasks as assigned and appropriate to the resource assigned to this role
