Job Description
Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for leading, motivating, and energizing the team to deliver world-class customer service, on-time deliveries, and top-quality products. This role oversees both the operational and financial performance of the facility, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations. The General Manager will communicate clearly with staff and senior leadership, while driving continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and profitability.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy, entrepreneurial leader who can bring organization, structure, and vision while implementing initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
•
Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring cross-departmental collaboration and responsiveness.
•
Set clear goals, performance expectations, and quality metrics for all departments.
•
Develop and implement strategies to minimize costs and optimize efficiency across operations.
•
Lead, mentor, and manage department managers, staff, and frontline workforce.
•
Maintain alignment with overall business and marketing objectives.
•
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, operational challenges, and opportunities.
•
Manage budgets, revenues, labor, and expenses to achieve financial goals.
•
Review and analyze financial statements, production reports, and performance data to identify improvement areas.
•
Take corrective action to address variances and drive profitability.
•
Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
•
5+ years of operations and management experience in a leadership role.
•
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
•
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
•
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment.
•
High attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
•
Job Type: Full-time
•
Salary: $130,000 – $140,000 per year
