NOCD is the #1 telehealth provider for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). OCD is one of the most severe, prevalent, and misunderstood mental health conditions. NOCD creates access to online therapy for people with OCD through our telehealth platform. In the NOCD app, members can quickly access and schedule live, face-to-face video therapy sessions with our national network of licensed therapists that specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) - considered the "gold standard" in OCD treatment.Â
At NOCD, we help people reclaim their lives with clinically proven OCD treatment, by removing barriers to OCD care, and reducing the stigma associated with OCD. We’re changing the world and need other like-minded individuals to accelerate and expand our efforts.
About the RoleÂ
We’re looking for someone with proven experience to develop and lead NOCD’s SEO content strategy to build a world class editorial publication for people with OCD and be a model content platform for all severe behavioral health conditions. This content will help individuals learn about the symptoms they’re experiencing, discover NOCD and consider us as a place to get access to ERP therapy. Thus, we are looking for someone who understands how to use SEO and organic content to drive business objectives. Specifically, this individual will manage new member growth from organic traffic efforts like a General Manager GM, including setting clear targets, objectives and key results as well as regularly tracking and reporting out on performance results
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Manage and lead our SEO and organic content efforts – this includes setting targets, evaluating performance, managing and growing the team, setting up processes and operations, managing the budget and more to drive results such as scaling organic traffic by 3-4X in 12 months Â
- Lead the editorial team by creating an editorial center of excellence that delivers relevant, timely, and engaging content for the OCD community–content that’s truly the best on the Internet for our target reader.
- Enhance our strategy to increase conversions from content to new therapy members
- Find and manage writers, editors, and clinical experts to publish compelling, authoritative, authentic, and discoverable content with an emphasis on helping people regain their life from OCD
- Analyze organic search landscapes to grow our audience in a quality and organic first way that matches organic traffic goals, but never compromises on our brand or long-term vision.
- Create efficient editorial processes and best practices that scale the delivery of content.
- Help create company-wide best practices and work collaboratively across teams to accomplish today’s company goals while setting the groundwork for everything content tomorrow.
- Work collaboratively across all teams to ensure continued innovation and experimentation, ensuring that the creative and strategic vision transcends across product, engineering, sales, design, and marketing.
- And shepherd the brand’s messaging and tone and voice across all editorial content
You May Be The Ideal Candidate If…
- You've had at least 10+ years of meaningful experience in a content leadership role, preferably at a relevant company/brand.
- You've got that rare combination of attention to detail and creative, strategic thinking.
- You’re famous for your strong leadership presence and command. Proven experience building a managing a team to build a premium long-term brand including recruiting, training, and managing.
- You’ve got experience growing an audience and are interested in delivering on key business metrics.
- You love data and know the ins and outs of SEO. You’re great at learning lots and winning because of it.
- You’ve got a contagious enthusiasm for experimentation, curious constantly about what’s working, what’s not, where, and why.
- You’ve got passion and a strong desire to make a long-term difference. (This isn’t just a job, it’s a mission!)
