Job Description

The Department of General Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking an experienced physician who is committed to an academic career in General Obstetrics & Gynecology. The position will hold a rank of Assistant Professor and will be based at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in Manhattan, NY.

Under the direction of the Site Chief, the Obstetrician & Gynecologist will:
  • Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting including antepartum visits, preventive and problem-based gynecologic care and performing office procedures.
  • Participate in an in-house Labor & Delivery call coverage and deliver obstetrical patients in our family focused maternity center, providing over 2000 deliveries annually.
  • Care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
  • Perform gynecologic surgeries.
  • Participate in continuing medical education and department quality initiatives.

Base Salary Range: $330,000-400,000
*Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for full-time employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a medical degree, successfully completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program and be board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. The candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License and possess a commitment to excellence and teaching.
