Geriatric Internal Medicine Physician for Richardson, TX

Methodist Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full time outpatient Geriatric Internal Medicine Physician to join our group in Richardson, TX. We focus on exclusively primary medical care for adults and senior populations. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care and consultative services to geriatric patients in an outpatient settings.
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and manage complex medical conditions common in older adults.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, therapists, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in geriatric medicine.
• Full-time: Monday – Friday; 8-5pm

Qualifications:

• Internal Medicine trained
• ABIM board certified
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Texas
• Valid DEA license
• Experience with Senior Care, Geriatric
• Current ACLS and BLS certification
