GIS Application Developer

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced GIS Application Developer proficient in JavaScript and .NET technologies, with a strong background in ESRI technology, REACT, PYTHON, and JSON/GeoJSON. The ideal candidate will excel in UI/UX design, leveraging HTML5, CSS, and various design frameworks, and will have extensive experience with Visual Studio 2013 or newer, Azure DevOps, and database management.
Duties:

• New development and enhancements.
• Develop using: ESRI technology, JavaScript, PYTHON, Leaflet, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, GeoJSON, XML, CSS and Visual Studio 2013 or newer. 
• Executes all required process steps. 
• Tests enhancement and development programs. 
• Participates in structured code reviews / walkthroughs. 
• Utilizes configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application. 
• Work in an agile environment. 

Required Skills:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent 
• JavaScript - 4 Years 
• .NET – 4 Years 
• ESRI Technologies - 4 Years 
• REACT – 2 Years 
• PYTHON - 4 Years 
• JSON / GeoJSON – 3 Years 
• UI/UX Design (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, dojo, AJAX, jQuery) – 3 Years 
• Visual Studio 2013 or newer – 3 Years (combined) 
• VSTS or Azure DevOps 
• Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment 
• Excellent communications skills both verbally and written 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

Preferred Skills:

• .NET Core, React.js, Leaflet, TypeScript 
• Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 11G or higher 
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or newer 
• Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience and services and/or APIs
