Job Description
AECOM is seeking a GIS Specialist to be based in Baltimore, MD.
This position is expected to begin in August 2023.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Works under direct supervision.
- Uses concepts, practices and procedures to extract and provide GIS data to clients.
- Reads and interprests engineering drawings.
- Uses ArcGIS Pro and ESRI suite to manipulate data and perform geospatial analysis
- Works with web data and assists with web maps and application production in Enterprise Arcgis, Portal and AGOL.
- Provides mapping and graphical support for reports and proposals.
- Uses Python, R, SQL, Arcade to program solutions of limited scope and complexity.
- This level is typically provided data from a level II or III for database entry and/or providing basic figures for projects and presentations. Level I is an end user of designs completed by level II and III.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree In Geography or a related field
- ArcMap and ArcPro experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Uses ArcGIS Pro and ESRI suite to manipulate data and perform geospatial analysis
- Works with web data and assists with web maps and application production in Enterprise Arcgis, Portal and AGOL.
- Experience with Water, stormwater and wastewater utility
- Experience with AutoCAD
- GIS Certification preferred
- Experience reading and interpreting Civil Engineering drawings
- Relocation is not available for this position.
