This team supports all our lines of business, across the globe (including America, Europe and Asia) and is recognized as the backbone of our finance operations across the world. We have recently become ACCA Approved Employer, Platinum level. The role interacts with colleagues across European, Asian, and North American territories. Therefore, flexibility is required as the role will often require calls outside of normal working hours.

Job Description

• Preparing financial statements in accordance with international financial reporting standards
• Management of month close process of accounting books, ensuring the books are closed on time and in good quality, substantive support of the accounting and other departments
• Cooperation and communication with external institutions, auditors and internal clients
• Ensuring completeness and correctness of data in accounting financial system during month-end process
• Measurement of effectiveness and optimization of accounting processes
• Reporting financial results in relevant systems
• Balance sheet reconciliation - analysis and review of the balance sheet items
• Preparing and verifying the correctness and completeness of data, monthly/annual/quarterly reports and statements along with the analysis of deviations
• Calculation of monthly accruals, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Payroll posting and reconciliation

Qualifications

Key competences:

• Minimum 3 years of prior experience in a similar position
• University degree in Finance and Accounting
• Practical knowledge of IFRS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel ability
• Very good command of spoken and written English
• Challenge the status quo and act as an agent of change
• Openness to changes and ability to present results
• A high degree of personal organization, self-reliance, desire for success and a positive/constructive attitude

• ACCA, CIMA certificate
