Your Role and Responsibilities
The GL Accounting Specialist manages the Record-to-Report (R2R) activities like Financial Accounting General Ledger costing and consolidation for EMEA countries ensuring accuracy and high performance. This role involves preparing and analyzing Service Level Agreement (SLA) results presenting them to the client and serving as the primary escalation point for any client concerns addressing issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction. During month-end closing the GL Accounting Specialist supports the team with operational tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion as well as prepares and delivers comprehensive month-end close reports. Additionally this position plays a key role in supporting transformation initiatives identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Managing R2R Team responsible for EMEA countries (FA GL costing consolidation)
- Preparing SLAs results and presenting them to the Client
- 1st point of escalation for the Client
- Supporting the team with operational tasks during closing
- MEC reporting
- Supporting transformation of processes
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Fluency in Czech language B2/C1
- Fluency in English language C1
- Proven experience in RTR (Fixed Assets Consolidation) or financial background required
- Experience in OTC and PTP as asset
- Accuracy diligence and commitment
- Practical advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP
- Strong customer orientation and proactive approach
- Good supplier relationship skills and team spirit
- Excellent Communication
- Very good analytical skills and attention to details
- Self-motivated can prioritize tasks and set deadlines
- Well organized and proactive
