Description

The Global Power BI Development intern is a contributor to business analytics projects focused on data curation, insights, internal/external digital tool development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business questions into specific data and reporting requirements.
• Develop & monitor dashboards that deliver actionable insights.
• Design & develop business analyses & reporting that answers key business questions.
• Analyze data to uncover key insights, create visualizations, craft a coherent story, & present finding
• Identify & surface data gaps, partner across business to close gaps.
• Improve & document process upgrades.
• Gather & analyze data for ad hoc analysis.
• Analyze market data & recommend commercial action.
• Collect & validate data from internal system platforms to ensure data integrity.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Skills & Abilities

• Proficient at data analysis in Excel & Power BI
• Effectively communicates information & responds to questions in person-to-person & small group situations.
• Maintains confidentiality & uses discretion with business information.
• Reads & understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.

Education & Experience

• Preferred majors: Finance, Operations Research, Business, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics

Computer Skills

• Advanced MS Office suite & Power BI
• Familiar with Relational Databases
• Nice to have: Python, DBA, SQL
