About the Role:
As Global Deal Desk Manager, you will join the Business Operations team in supporting a high-growth Sales and Customer Success org. There is a lot of building to do, so we're looking for candidates who know what 'good' is, are collaborative and really excited to join our adventure to create both the right long-term vision and the right next steps for tomorrow.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with important members of the Go-To-Market (GTM) team on best practices related to deal management, and contract structuring.
- Refine and automate the process for deal approvals, thresholds and rules, approver roles and responsibilities, approval routing and workflow design, automated exception alerting, and communications.
- Develop and strengthen partnerships across our Sales, Legal, Billing Ops and Finance teams, serving as subject matter expert on all things related to Deal Desk
- Apply your subject matter expertise to improve the quote-to-order process and implement best practices.
- Use business intelligence and data to understand what's working and what's not, reporting on trends, risks, and areas for the business to improve on.
- Work collaboratively at all levels of the company, and be comfortable advising senior management on key deals to support the business.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls throughout the related process and for all related functions.
- Support cross-functional month-end and quarter-end close deliverables.
- Lead the deal desk team, encouraging a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 6+ years (with at least 4 years of Enterprise Software industry )
- Experience supporting and managing in the technology industry
- Knowledge and skills typically associated with leading a Deals Desk/Business Desk including, structuring, and pricing in SaaS organizations
- Able to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proven success partnering with Go-To-Market Teams and other departments
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM systems, as well as financial modeling tools
- In-depth knowledge of contract terms, legal implications, and risk assessment
- You thrive in dynamic, ever-changing environments
- Able to identify areas of improvement and propose necessary changes
Bonus If You:
- Have experience at a pre-IPO or public company and/or with billing systems and implementations (i.e. SuiteBilling, Zuora and Stripe)
- Are located in the Bay Area or live on the West Coast

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
