About the role

Global IAM Lead Engineer will be responsible for the integration of Identity and Access Management (IAM) technology across enterprise platforms and applications. This role will be responsible in establishing and maintaining the IAM framework and architecture alignment to enterprise standards, guiding engineering and implementation of IAM solutions. This role works with CIOs, Architecture teams, BU stakeholders, auditors, and other key technology partners to ensure smooth implementation of IAM capabilities for Access administration, PAM, IGA, Authentication, CIAM, global IAM user experience and effective management of risk controls aligned to IAM processes.

What you need to know:

This role will require the ability to think strategically, balancing long and short-term priorities:

• Guide AIG IAM service leads and strategic partner engineering and development teams to assure alignment to strategic direction
• Drive to leverage IAM product capabilities and services to maximum utilization. Assess and improve AIG IAM maturity across services
• Subject matter expertise in the IAM domain both cross-functional and cross-product
• Ensure consistently aligned roadmaps across IAM services. Provide oversight to all IAM managed platforms and solutions
• Stay apprised of industry standards and trends to apply to AIG
• Ensure effectiveness of audit controls interacting with Internal Audit Team (IAG) and External Audit teams
• Front end and drive IAM IT modernization workstreams and initiatives
• Frame requirements and design for strategic initiatives to implement, maintain, and enhance AIG IAM security posture
• Ability to lead projects through full lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture and design, scoping, implementation and operationalization
• Sound knowledge and experience in Enterprise Architecture, Strategy and IT Security
• Strong experience in IGA, Privileged Access Management and modern authentication
• Strong understanding of cloud IAM
• Responsible for effectively collaborating with IAM leads and Business Unit stakeholders to ensure IAM technology and delivery meets or exceeds their expectations

What we're looking for:

• BA/BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Related Field.
• 8+ years' experience in IAM engineering and access controls, IAM Technology and IT infrastructure
• Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of cloud security - AWS and AzureAD
• Experience interpreting IAM product designs and business requirements to drive adoption of IT security process solutions that span across multiple technologies, businesses, and geographies
• Understanding of IAM relevant technical security skills, such as Identity Governance, Single Sign On and authentication, Multi-Factor Authentication, Microsoft and AD tools for Access Management and controls, Privileged access management, and AWS security
• Working knowledge of multiple IAM systems (traditional and cloud)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or other IT certifications a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with many levels of management and across multiple lines of business and corporate functions
• Skilled in handling stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
• Well organized, with good attention to detail. Good communication skills, both written and oral
