As the Global Veterinary Product Manager, you will ensure that our new product line exceeds customer expectations and supports company goals. The work will have a real-world impact, and you'll be supported in achieving your career aspirations. As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific Vantaa Analyzers and Assays product management team you collaborate with variety of professionals globally to improve customer access to high quality testing to support better treatment decisions. What Will You Do?
Our product strategy is designed to provide you with experiences in understanding global markets and the responsibility of growing one of Thermo Fisher's product segments. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Leading the product lifecycle of our new reagent portfolio.
- Analyzing customer needs and driving actions to maintain product line competitiveness.
- Assessing market trends and developing competitive strategies, including value propositions and positioning statements.
- Cultivating business relationships to drive revenue, margin, and customer growth.
- Staying up to date with technological and competitive developments in the market, maintaining a detailed understanding of competitors' strategies, positioning, and technical capabilities.
- Supporting commercial teams by providing essential training, tools, and information to efficiently sell the product line.
Location: ideal candidate will be located close to our Vantaa, Finland office or otherwise able to travel to Finland regulary.
What Will You Bring? (Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities)
- Experience and/or understanding of the veterinary healthcare business.
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related sciences.
- A minimum of 5 years of product management experience.
- A customer-centric, entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to work effectively in a complex and fast-paced global organization.
- A strategic approach with strong execution skills and the willingness to challenge and streamline existing processes.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in other languages (e.g., Finnish) is an advantage.
