The Global Sales Analysis Manager will be based in Fremont, CA. In this role, you will be a vital part of the Nextracker organization and provide crucial support to the global sales and sales operations teams. Using your communication and project management skills you will lead a team that supports sales initiatives & priorities set by our leadership team. You will partner cross-functionally with centralized reporting teams and regional Analyst Managers to ensure alignment to existing reporting, sales, and other processes. You will run weekly meetings to enable sales for success as well as overlook the sales processes and procedures to best serve our customers. You will also drive dashboards and reports, delegate ad hoc requests, and serve as a liaison between the international sales team, Directors of Sales Operations, business report developers and other departments.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do

Sales Analysis Management/Support (40% of the time)
  • Work with Director of Sales Operations to develop and maintain monthly and quarterly reports and Key performance indicators
  • Identify and make recommendations to eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies through hands-on brainstorming.
  • Maintain international contracts in an administrative fashion.
  • Assist the CCO and other executive leadership with one-off requests for reports, project estimation, and strategic initiatives.
  • Own end-to-end quoting process with development and automation in both CPQ and Estimator form through regular meetings with the Supply chain and Product teams.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to refine the lead qualification process, analyze and report on customer satisfaction with reporting and dashboards.
  • Work closely with the Global Sales/Business Development Team on creative deal structuring and bid strategy and support in adopting the right tooling strategy.
  • Manage international and local pipeline review weekly meetings.
  • Employ the best structure for Hand-off flow and agreement structure between the Sales team and involved departments like Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations.
  • Form strong relationships and maintain regular contact with Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, and Sales Leaders.
  • Provide individual and team mentoring, ensuring high levels of team engagement and developing capabilities within the team.
  • Onboarding and sales processes training for new Sales Analysts and Sales Representatives.
  • Actively Manage the Sales Analyst Team with support from the Analyst Manager to:
  • Update and maintain quoting tools.
  • Onboarding and training new international Sales Analysts.
  • Support data hygiene score improvements for international sales teams.
  • Drive professional development of the team.


Sales Business Systems Support (60% of the time)
  • Work in concert with Director of Sales Operations and Global Sales Team to develop specific initiatives for improvements in estimating, quoting, and proposal generation, to develop specific requirements, translate to projects/tickets, perform UAT and work with consultants to drive to production.
  • Serve as the primary business owner of Salesforce CRM and NetSuite ERP:
  • Support Business Requirement Document development, approvals, and deployment with stakeholders in other departments.
  • Manage development priorities with developers and internal Database Specialists on system improvement initiatives.
  • Support Supply Chain with managing Price Dimensions maintenance in Salesforce CPQ - from Flat File releases and Project Inventory Location assignments in NetSuite.
  • Be the primary business owner of the API application integration architecture with Business systems including but not limited to: Salesforce, NetSuite, and HubSpot.
  • Oversee Sales portion of cross-functional compliance tracking including ongoing data entry and annual improvement initiatives in Salesforce CRM and NetSuite ERP.
  • Create monthly content on Sales Business system improvement initiative and their progress.
  • Manage multiple Sales operation projects and use judgment to build consensus, drive projects, schedule, plans, execution, and communicate status to the stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • Work directly with members of the USA Sales team to observe the current process and work on addressing issues within Business Systems.
  • Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally and globally to improve processes and tools.
  • Manage and own various reporting and business intelligence projects/reports.
  • Drive updates and new implementations to our quoting tools.
  • Conduct introductory Sales workflow training calls for new employees in other departments (like Engineering, Product, and R&D).


New Market Entry Strategy (10% of the time)
  • Perform research on country risk and business growth strategies.
  • Maintain reports pertaining to new markets that the sales team is focused on.
  • Identify and communicate with key regional support to define our strategic methods of entry.
  • Create an open environment for sales and other departments to be aligned on the methodology of operating in new markets.
  • Capture evolving customer & market requirements.
  • Conduct legal, tax, and business continuity research associated with new market prospects.
  • Perform multiple layers of market analysis to identify key markets.
  • Maintain the 3-year plan with Finance, Sales Operations, Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Own and maintain a working relationship with Nextracker's strategic partners.


Here is some of what you'll need (required)
  • Deep knowledge of Solar Tracker Technology
  • Understanding of variable electrical and mechanical design complications based on module technology to be implemented within a project.
  • Experience with establishing cost estimation techniques of projects & tooling costs.
  • Operational experience in measuring and improving efficiency, utilization, and scale initiatives.
  • Experience with project and program management.
  • Ability to visualize and interpret data, including, forecasting, cash flow, upside/downsides, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency with database and system development projects including Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Success with API Communication between multiple business systems.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce) ERP (NetSuite) reports and data involving forecasting, tracking, and maintaining revenue recognition.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills; including detailing business processes, use cases, and business requirements.
  • Able to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
  • Experience in people management including goal-setting growth aspect and coaching.
