Job Description

As a Global Technical Specialist for Hitachi Energy, you will work strategically with internal and external communications projects. We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Specialist with experience in SCADA/EMS/DMS/OMS Solutions including analytics and IT/OT integration. The right candidate will be responsible for strategy and design of the technical solutions in the sales opportunities.
The role is flexible to be based of your home country where Hitachi Energy is present in SEA.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for qualifying new opportunities by using analytic and diagnostic skills to match user requirements to Hitachi Energy Network Control Solutions
  • You will perform presentations and demonstrations of the solutions.
  • Responsible for the design of the technical solution strategy of the solution offered to the customer.
  • You will actively participate in bid preparations.
  • You will take responsibility for the development of demo scenarios for customer demos, workshops, and proof of concepts.
  • Developed a deep understanding of the customer challenges through frequent customer visits, meeting a diverse range of existing and potential customers.

Your background

  • You hold bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • You hold experience with an electric utility working with IT/OT integration and/or with a system integrator working with integration and analytics in the utility domain.
  • Advantageous to have in-depth understanding of the use of applications within the electric utilities.
  • Broad IT/OT knowledge with experience in 3rd party system integration and IT security.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility for travel required.
  • Proficiency in English
