Job Description A large residential condominium building is seeking a full time second shift Door Staff member. Our Door Staff are the face of our building and the first to greet, welcome, and assist residents, guests, and vendors. The position is a blend of hospitality and security. You are welcoming people into their homes while ensuring that anyone who enters has permission to be in the building. This is a large building with a significant amount of foot traffic. Door Staff must be able to stay alert, attentive, and engaged. RESPONSIBILITIES include managing the front desk, patrolling the property, and attending to the driveway (this is not a comprehensive list): • Greet owners, residents, guests, and vendors • Confirm that those entering have permission from the residents • Sign in and direct guests/vendors to the appropriate location • Distribute and retrieve spare keys to guest and vendors • Log deliveries under the corresponding unit • Monitor cameras • Answer phone calls • Keep daily shift log detailed of activity during a work shift • Keep the flow of the driveway moving • Assist residents with doors, groceries, etc., as needed • Investigate noise and odor complaints on behalf of residents • Report irregularities, issues, or security concerns • At times, may support the receiving room in accepting and distributing packages. Experience Work history with an experience in customer-facing roles such as hospitality, customer service or residential property industries preferred. Must be able to communicate in English. Additional Job Details · Full-time position. Shift hours: 4pm-Midnight, 5 days a week · This is an SEIU Local 1 Position with benefits and paid training.
