Join our dynamic IT department and collaborate with experienced professionals to develop innovative solutions that address real-world business challenges faced by Avanade and its customers. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to explore the full range of features and functionality offered by Azure. You will work on analyzing business requirements, designing, coding, testing and implementing your solutions.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the development process, from ideation to delivery. Additionally, you will create technical and functional documentation to highlight the capabilities and use cases of the solutions you develop and conduct demo presentations to demonstrate your work.

What you'll do

• Dive into Learning: Engage in self-study using online documentation and video tutorials to master the Microsoft Power Platform.

• Collaborate: Work closely with other interns and Avanade stakeholders using Scrum.

• Innovate and Test: Develop and integrate your solution into Avanade's platform, test its effectiveness, and refine it based on feedback.

• Document Your Journey: Create comprehensive technical and functional documentation to highlight your work and its capabilities.

• Showcase Your Success: Prepare and deliver a compelling demo presentation to showcase your innovative solution.

Skills and experiences

• Proficiency in frontend (Angular, React, Vue) and backend (ASP.NET Core) development technologies.

• Familiarity with Azure and services like Azure Web App, Azure Functions, and Azure Communication Services (ACS), Azure Notification Hub, or Azure SignalR.

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Deployment (Cl/CD) technologies like Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Kubernetes, or YAML configurations.

• Knowledge of SQL (SQL Server, Azure SQL) and NoSQL databases (Azure Cosmos DB).

• Knowledge about agile methodologies and Scrum.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Application Insights.

About you

• Academic Pursuit: Currently enrolled in a computer science or related program at a college or university.

• You are passionate about software development and technological innovation.

• You have excellent communication skills and can work effectively in an international environment (English, French and/or Flemish).

Duration: The internship program will be around 4 months starting February. The internship will be unpaid, but we will provide you with training, guidance, and support throughout the program.
