Grant Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION Grant Accountant Location: South Seattle / On-site Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 (DOE) Our client, a respected and mission-driven healthcare organization, is seeking aGrant Accountantto join their finance team. This role is a great opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in support of programs that make a meaningful impact in the community. TheGrant Accountantwill be responsible for managing the financial aspects of grant funding, including payment processing, reconciliations, and compliance tracking. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, accountability, and transparency in the organization’s financial operations. Overview of the Grant Accountant role: • Manage check processing and payment tracking • Research and follow up on missing documentation for payments and reimbursements • Perform grant accounting, ensuring compliance with funding requirements • Prepare reconciliations and support month-end processes • Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide accurate financial data Preferred Qualifications for the Grant Accountant: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred • Background in grant accounting or nonprofit accounting • Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables • Workday experience is a strong plus • High attention to detail, strong organization, and consistent follow-through Why Join Our Client?
