The Role

Join us in the exciting role of Heirloom's first Grants Manager! This role will oversee management of post-award grants, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the award. It entails being the main liaison for award-related matters with both external funding programs and internal departments. Responsibilities cover managing the award process, including audit and compliance, reporting, budget management, and developing and implementing policies and procedures related to grants. 

What You Will Bring

You have a proven track record of effectively managing and administering grants within diverse settings such as universities, non-profits, foundations, or research facilities, including those operating within large corporations. A strong sense of organization and project management will be crucial for success in this role. Taking initiative and displaying ownership in navigating the grant landscape is expected, and having a grasp of technical intricacies will set you apart. Familiarity with donor and grant software is crucial, as is experience in dealing with federal government funding and associated systems. While not mandatory, a background in a technical field would be a valuable asset for this position.
