Graphic Design Intern

Wilmington, DE or Remote EST or CST

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Internship program dates: June 6 - August 15

CSC® seeks a bright, highly motivated student to join our in-house creative team as a Graphic Design Intern. We need a versatile contributor with proven creative skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Applicants should have a dynamic artistic vision, an eye for detail, and a love of design, typography, and digital imaging.

This role requires a team player who can understand CSC's diverse business lines and execute projects that speak persuasively to their respective audiences.

This a full-time work from home position.

Responsibilities include:

• Conceptualizing, designing, and producing professional creative marketing pieces for both online and print that establish and reinforce the company's brand, image, and messaging platform.

• Partnering with Marketing Managers to understand current business strategy and translate it into clear, creative execution.

• Designing collateral including sales sheets, brochures, presentations, proposals, white papers, and newsletters.

• Developing layouts and templates for CSC's digital presence-social media posts, landing pages, intranet assets, and templates.

• Developing print and online advertising.

• Developing concepts, layout, and graphics for tradeshow booths including custom booth displays, free-standing displays, and banner stands.

• Ensuring that the design and production of each piece adheres to established brand standards for color, font selection, quality, and logo usage.

• Designing and producing all assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Working with other graphic designers and Marketing Managers to brainstorm creative strategies and executions.

• Diligently maintaining a design library, digital files, and records.

Technical Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Currently attending college, university, or a similar training program

• Graduating or ready for full-time employment within 12 months of August 2024

• Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a Windows and Mac environment.

• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) in a Windows and Mac environment.

• Video and motion graphics production expertise in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Animate are a plus.
