Job Title: Graphic Design Specialist III

We are seeking a creative and talented Graphic Design Specialist III to join AmeriLife's Brand Marketing and Creative Services team. This role will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating modern, visually stunning graphics that effectively communicate our brand message and those of our affiliate companies; engage our audience; and enhance our content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will serve as a multispecialty designer and have a strong portfolio showcasing work in graphic design, branding, print and event collateral, and visual storytelling.

Additionally, this role will serve as an embedded creative resource for AmeriLife's Distribution Operations team, focused primarily on creative work that support events, initiatives, and programs for AmeriLife's growing Health and Wealth Distribution (sales) organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to AmeriLife's Executive Creative Director (ECD), help conceptualize and develop designs for a wide range of creative deliverables across various channels, including marketing campaigns, social media content, videos, and more
  • Translate creative briefs from internal client and concepts into compelling visual stories
  • Must be willing to serve as a multispecialty designed and assist in other graphic design projects when needed, including but not limited to print and digital publication layout, digital/social media, presentations (PowerPoint and Keynote), and event collateral.
  • Work closely with video editors in the AmeriLife Studios, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and high-quality output.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques for graphic design
  • Provide creative input and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensure both pre- and post-production quality checks are completed
  • When needed, work with vendors on the development of client materials; review and approve vendor submission and invoices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an in-house corporate creative department, advertising/marketing company, or design firm
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications (emphasis on Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Working proficiency with PowerPoint and Keynote for designing executive-level presentations
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition
  • Excellent attention to detail (i.e., quality control) and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently on projects from start to finish, as well as collaboratively with a matrixed team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for creativity, storytelling, and pushing the boundaries of design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of video editing and compositing techniques; working proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro is a plus
  • Experience working in a creative agency or similar environment
  • Experience creating motion graphics for mobile platforms and social media channels
  • Experience with and/or interest in A.I. tools for design
