Position Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. They will also use their skills to communicate ideas, inform consumers, and solve problems.
Responsibilities
• Revise projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
• Prepare print orders and assembly instructions on notification of final approval.
• Consult with project participants as needed on complex or specialized projects.
• Select fonts for written copy and produce sample layouts for approval by project participants.
• Prepare drafts of design work and provide samples to appropriate staff or departments for review.
• Create original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.
• Choose graphics, clip art, and stock photography as appropriate, and may enhance choices with simple drawings.
• Collaborate with marketing staff and other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommended best practices, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Consistently maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company’s Brand Standards.
• Ensure Company goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met.
• Be well informed of information and knowledge shared on the Company’s communication platforms, and actively seek additional knowledge.
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain an elevated knowledge of cannabis, cannabis products, brand standards, and compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Data entry skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform simple calculations.
• Possess a valid Nevada Agent Card.
• OSHA 10 General Industry Certification.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants strongly preferred.
• Experience with project sharing and file sharing databases.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting business demands.
• At least three (3) years of related work experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Media Encoder highly preferred.
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external business partners.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other similar design software.
• Bachelor’s degree, major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment while ensuring attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task under tight timeline constraints, including ability to prioritize and perform successfully in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to bend, stretch, and handle or feel objects.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds or more, without assistance.
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
