Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support the repositioning of the MCI family of brands by executing visual designs and assisting with style guide development under the guidance of senior team members. You'll create compelling visual content across digital and print platforms while gaining valuable experience in B2B marketing and brand development.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Creative Development
• Create engaging graphics for digital marketing campaigns, including social media and email marketing
• Design print materials such as brochures, product catalogs, trade show displays, and promotional materials
• Execute visual communications that align with established brand guidelines and enhance brand recognition
• Assist in the creation of technical product documentation and instruction manuals with clear visual elements
• Support the Director of Marketing & Communications on larger creative projects and campaigns
Marketing Support
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute creative campaigns under direction
• Support trade show preparation by designing booth graphics, banners, and promotional materials
• Create visual content for product launches and new product announcements
• Assist with maintaining visual consistency across digital platforms and marketing materials
• Take direction from Director of Marketing & Communications on complex marketing initiatives
Brand Management & Visual Identity
• Establish brand guidelines for each business group across all design materials
• Assist in the development of style guides for the MCI family of brands under supervision
• Support visual identity projects that strengthen brand positioning and market impact
• Help maintain organized asset libraries and design templates for team use
• Learn and implement brand standards to ensure cohesive visual communications
Administrative Tasks
• Manage assigned design projects while meeting deadlines under supervision
• Coordinate with external vendors and print suppliers as directed
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and team meetings
• Maintain accurate project files and documentation
• Support Director of Marketing & Communications with project preparation and file management
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
• 2-4 years of professional design experience (in-house or agency work preferred)
• Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in graphic design principles and software
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of print and digital production processes and file preparation
• Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with additional design software (Sketch, Figma, After Effects)
• Intermediate photography and photo editing skills
• Previous experience in B2B or manufacturing marketing (internships accepted)
• Creation of brand development and style guide creation
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms
• Experience with social media content creation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.01 - $30.12 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
