Whether created on-site or abroad, every Maya Romanoff product meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, and innovation—driven by our philosophy:“Make every wall beautiful.” We are seeking a hybridGraphic Designer / Wide Format Print Technicianto join our creative team. This role blends graphic design with technical, digital print production. You’ll create wallcovering designs, marketing collateral and other materials while also handling large-format digital printing, equipment maintenance, and quality control. This full-time position is based in our Skokie headquarters. This role will report to the Director of Product Development and the Graphic Design Team Manager and have frequent interaction with Executive Vice President of Manufacturing and Product Development, the Graphic Design and Digital Print Specialist, Product Development Manager, and Marketing Manager. Overtime may be required. Key Responsibilities: Graphic Design & Marketing Support • Design and prepare materials (e.g., postcards, catalogs, signage, emails, sample books, social posts) aligned with brand standards. • Retouch and color-correct images; edit videos for social and trade events. • Assist with in-house and vendor-coordinated photoshoots. • Maintain and organize digital asset library. • Support design of wallcovering patterns and custom “Atelier” projects. Print Production & Technical Operations • Operate and maintain wide-format digital printers (HP, Epson, Roland, Graphtec). • Prepare RIP files; manage materials and substrates. • Calibrate printers, perform routine maintenance, trouble-shoot issues. • Ensure color accuracy, quality standards, and timely delivery of print jobs. • Coordinate with vendors on pricing, timelines, and press checks. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Project & Workflow Management • Track multiple design and print projects; prioritize and meet deadlines. • Maintain organized file systems and production records. • Collaborate with product development, marketing, and other departments. General • Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures • Represent the company’s best interests • Any special projects and additional duties, as assigned by supervisor Requirements: • BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field. • 5+ years in graphic design and wide-format digital printing. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Microsoft Office. • Basic web design. • Familiar with RIP software and large-format print workflows. • Strong visual design skills and mechanical aptitude. • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Lift and carry materials up to 60 lbs. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the day. • Manual dexterity to operate printing equipment.
