Graphic Designer - Creative Media

Click here to read GENERAL OBJECTIVES: • The Graphic Designer, Creative Media for the Athletic Department will provide unique and innovative visual content for DBU Athletics and each individual sports team. A majority of design work is for DBU Athletics' social media accounts. QUALIFICATIONS: • Devoted to Christ • Detail-oriented • Efficient time management skills • Ability to meet deadlines • Excellent in both online and print design • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop) • Innate understanding of the online social space • Equal passion for graphic design and professional development • Bachelors degree in Design-related major OR strong portfolio (0-12 months of professional work experience) SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/the Adobe Creative Suite • Contributions during live sporting events (nights and weekends are common) • Assists in design project management using the Microsoft Suite, including Planner • Assists with creation of Photoshop templates • Ideates and executes design trends to highlight DBU Athletics sports teams, including an NCAA DI Baseball program WORK SCHEDULE AND OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: A minimum of 40 hours per week or more is necessary to meet the requirements of the program. Night and weekend work is also required. Travel is potentially required throughout the year for games.
