Job Overview As a Graphic Designer at Versa, you will be responsible for developing and executing visually compelling concepts across a variety of marketing campaigns, spanning both digital and traditional mediums. You will work closely with the Creative Director while collaborating with internal teams to produce impactful and strategic content. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Provide quality design assets, including but not limited to social media posts and ads, digital ads, websites, blog posts, e-blasts, print media, outdoor advertising, storyboarding and video animations, branding (includes logo creation) content, and client presentations • Prepare design assets for production (print and digital) • Conceptualize, storyboard, and animate short videos or assets for videos • Create concepts by studying information and materials • Maintain day-to-day clients • Collaborate with other team members on projects • Stay relevant in design trends, techniques, trends, and all design software to stay efficient • Work efficiently within the given parameters • Maintain an open mind for improvement and growth opportunities • Occasionally attend off-site / in-office client meetings Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe XD, and After Effects • Working knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, MailChimp, and others • Working knowledge of AI platforms such as MidJourney, Firefly, and others • Knowledge of social media trends and content creation for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. • Portfolio of recent work • Passion for Graphic Design and Marketing • Demonstrate a positive attitude and be solution-minded • Ability and interest in hands-on work and being closely engaged with all types of people • Time management and priority handling between projects • Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines while being detail-oriented • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment • Previous job experience in the field is a plus • Knowledge of the Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Chat, Meet) is a plus • Knowledge of Wrike or another project management system is a plus • Must live in Houston, TX, or be willing to relocate Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes holiday pay, vacation pay, health insurance, and a retirement plan (401K).
