What to Expect The Graphic Designer will be a key creative partner on the North America Sales & Delivery Operations team, developing dynamic visual content that elevates retail experiences, training, and product knowledge initiatives. This role blends storytelling, design, and animation to deliver impactful graphics that align with Tesla’s brand and mission. What You'll Do • Concept, design, and produce motion graphics, animations, and visual assets for education materials, retail experience, and digital platforms • Translate complex ideas into engaging, easy-to-understand visual narratives that inspire and educate • Collaborate with video producers, and program managers to integrate motion design seamlessly into videos and interactive learning experiences • Maintain and elevate Tesla’s visual identity across motion graphics and static assets, ensuring brand consistency • Rapidly prototype creative concepts based on business needs and incorporate stakeholder feedback into final deliverables • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing speed, creativity, and attention to detail What You'll Bring • Bachelor’s Degree in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Visual Arts or equivalent experience • 5+ years of professional experience in motion graphics design, with a strong portfolio showcasing animation, video integration, and visual storytelling • Expert-level skills in Adobe After Effects, Godot/Unreal Engine, and Blender • Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a bias toward action and innovation • Preferred: Familiarity with Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: • Aetna PPO and HSA plans > 2 medical plan options with $0 payroll deduction • Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits • Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution • Company Paid (Health Savings Account) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High Deductible Aetna medical plan with HSA • Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) • 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits • Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance • Employee Assistance Program • Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions), and Paid Holidays • Back-up childcare and parenting support resources • Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance • Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs • Tesla Babies program • Commuter benefits • Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $88,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
