Graphic Designer / Production Artist

Sign Company Seeks Full Time Graphic Designer Family-owned business is seeking a Graphic Designer for signage of all types. Focus will be on illuminated, exterior signage. This is not a remote position. Candidate must be prepared to work in office from 8am - 5pm, Mon-Fri, in Jacksonville, FL. Candidate must have working knowledge of Corel & Adobe Products; Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, etc. CandidateMUSThave signage specific experience or they will not be considered. Duties include but are not limited to; - Designing a wide variety of signage; both illuminated and non-illuminated. - Collecting design information from customers in a professional and timely manner. - Working closely with sales and surveying team to ensure all information provided is correct and fully understood. - Creating presentation ready mockups for customers, sign permit applications, and installation packages - Answering phones, transferring phone calls, taking messages, customer service. - Requesting quotes from wholesale vendors - Preparing and typing customer estimates when needed to support the sales team. - Creating production ready files & ordering of raw materials for signs for in house production. - Creating production ready files & ordering fully fabricated illuminated & non-illuminated signs from wholesale vendors. The environment is close knit and fast paced. Candidate will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with asking questions and seeking answers on their own. High level of organization is required as systems in place must be followed carefully and in real time. This position is perfect for individuals looking to grow their design skills in a collaborative environment. As a small office, all employees help out in different departments as needed for workflow to move at its best pace. Candidate must be ready to assist others in a wide assortment of tasks. Full Time position Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Benefits include health insurance, 401k with a company match, paid vacation & holidays.
