Your Opportunity

Stantec is seeking a Graphic Designer to work alongside a diverse team of engineers and outreach specialists on transportation projects. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated team player to provide graphic and illustration design support to the team. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography.

The graphic designer will support and collaborate with our Transportation team in Florida. Experience in the A/E field preferred with primary work involving project branding, layouts for presentations and exhibits, and other collateral development in support of a wide range of projects. Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, web-based interfaces, and Microsoft Office required. Experience in SketchUp, Revit, Rhino or other 3D visualization software ideal.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a vital part of our transportation team, you'll provide graphic support to produce conceptual renderings, 3D renderings, flyers, posters, presentations, and reports for existing projects, marketing pursuits. You'll work closely with our team to create strong visual graphics to communicate project information to the general public and to our major clients.

• Produce PowerPoint presentations, exhibits, websites, and flyer layouts.
• Create compelling and effective infographics, logos, designs, print and digital media.
• Create simple and effect illustrations that communicate complex project information to diverse audiences.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Utilize software packages such as InDesign, ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp to design graphics that effectively convey technical material.
• Open to learning new programs, plug-ins, and processes to improve graphic presentations.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based interfaces.
• Design-focused, with a good eye for compelling digital and print design
• Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills.
• Must have the ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with a larger team.
• Candidate should enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and within a physically dispersed team
• Must feel comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
• Confident communicating with individuals across all levels of the organization

Education and Experience

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field or advanced training in Graphic Design
• Minimum of 2 years' graphic design experience within architectural, engineering, GIS or comparable industry
• GIS experience a plus
• Experience in SketchUp, Revit, Rhino or other 3D visualization software a plus
