Graphic Designer

EHC is currently looking for aGraphic Designerfor a client located in Houston, TX. This is a one year assignment with the possibility of extending longer. Working Hours: 10-20 hours expected per week, flexible hours, can complete tasks on their own schedule as long as deadlines are fulfilled and available for urgent matters. Hybrid schedule: 3 days per week, flexible but must include Thursday in office. JOB ROLE: Looking for a Graphic Designer that can take the helm of templated assets, ensuring every piece shines within our client's brand universe. You'll collaborate with fellow designers, turning concepts into scroll-stopping realities. JOB SUMMARY: We're on the hunt for a Graphic Designer who lives for flawless deliverables and can create Figma and Canva templates. You'll team up with our client's Creative Ops squad, flex your Adobe Suite skills, and keep our client's branding consistent. If you've got 2+ years of production-driven design, an eye for detail, and are able to manage deadlines, come join our client and help shape the visual heartbeat of their brand. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design Execution: Take wireframes, mood boards, and concepts from Brand Managers or Creative Development team, and turn them into vibrant, on-brand designs by creatively applying typography, imagery, and layouts. • Template Mastery: Create marketing assets, leveraging our design systems and templates. Craft and sustain adaptable Figma and Canva templates - spanning emails, social posts, print ads, and more - so anyone can drop in content without ever turning your perfect red into blinding neon orange. • Creative Collaboration: Partner closely with our Art Director and her Creative Development team - taking direction, seeking feedback, and ensuring every asset reflects their vision. • Brand Stewardship: Uphold brand standards, from exact color values to logo placement, ensuring consistency across all channels. • Peer Refinement: Work hand-in-hand with copywriters, marketers, and fellow designers - embracing feedback (giving and receiving) to elevate each asset. • Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous proofing and preflight checks on final files to guarantee error-free deliverables. • Asset Organization: Curate and update our shared library of brand assets, so nobody's hunting for "Final_FINAL_v3". • Process Improvement: Recommend new tools, shortcuts, or workflow tweaks to keep the creative engine running smoothly. QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience: 2+ years in a production-driven design role (Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar). • Tech Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Canva and Figma experience is a plus. • Detail oriented: You can catch a stray pixel or misaligned guideline from across the room. • Multitasker: You can juggle tight deadlines and multiple projects • Communicator: You articulate design decisions clearly. • Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent experience.
