Graphic Designer / with Front End Design Experience (IN OFFICE POSITION)

Summary We are looking for a talented graphic designer with a keen eye for design and the ability to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive websites using front end design. You will need to be experienced with PHP and familiar with WordPress with the ability to both edit and create themes within WordPress. This position will also require a strong graphic design background with a portfolio that provides insight into skill and experience. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • The job will consist of 60% graphic design and 40% front end design (WordPress) • Front end design within WordPress utilizing PHP, CSS and HTML. • Collaborate with clients to determine the structure and design of web pages. • Ability to make theme edits as well as create themes from scratch within the WordPress environment. • Developing features such as graphics, audio, and video elements, to enhance the user experience. • Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design. • Manage the hosting of content while ensuring web design is optimized for multiple platforms and devices. • Building reusable code for future use. • Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability. • Maintaining brand consistency through design. Requirements • College degree in computer science or related field, or commensurate professional experience • Proven work experience as a graphic design expert and front end developer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. • Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment). • Proficiency in HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery as well as familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js). • Understanding of server-side CSS • Experience with responsive and adaptive design. • Understanding of SEO principles Job Type: Full-time Pay: $51,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Employee discount • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Ability to Commute: • Las Vegas, NV 89103 (Required) Work Location: In person
