Graphic Designer

Designs, lays out, and prints marketing material by performing the following duties. WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Reads work orders to determine type of sign specified, work procedures, and materials required. • Formulates concept and renders illustration and detail from models, sketches, memory, and imagination. • Creates, draws, modifies, and changes design to achieve desired effect. • Prioritizes, tracks, handles, and maintains records of the costs, and time schedules of multiple projects. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT • This is an individual contributor with no direct reports. QUALIFACATIONS Required Education and Experience: • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience: • Language Ability:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. • Math Ability:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. • Computer Skills: Toperform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Design software; Internet software and Microsoft Office to include Outlook. Must have knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
