Graphic Designer/Prepress

Overview We are looking for a Graphic Designer (Prepress Specialist) to join our growing team. This role will focus primarily on prepressing artwork for signs, banners, and other print collateral, ensuring accuracy, quality, and print readiness. In addition, you'll have opportunities to design promotional signage and graphics for customers and their businesses. This role may also include light production support, such as printing on small format printers. Experience with equipment like Mimaki printers is a plus but not required- we are willing to train the right candidate. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and preflight customer artwork for print across a variety of products such as signs, banners, door hangers, collateral, etc. • Ensure files meet technical print specifications, including color accuracy, bleeds, resolution, and layout. • Collaborate with the design team and customers to adjust and finalize files for print. • Occasionally design custom promotional signage and graphics for customer projects. • Support small-format printing tasks as needed, training will be provided if necessary • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and consistency across all projects. Qualifications • 1-3 years' experience in graphic design, prepress, or a related field. Print industry experience preferred. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). • Strong understanding of print production processes, file setup, and design standards. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Team oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Experience with small-format digital printers (e.g., Mimaki) is a plus but not required.
