Grind Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience with various machining and fabrication processes. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Duties • Operate OD/ID grinding machines to process new and damaged cylindrical components. • Ensure all grinding operations meet customer specifications and tolerances with high accuracy. • Utilize micrometers and other precision instruments for quality control and inspection. • Conduct quality inspections on finished products to meet specifications. • Operate forklifts, cranes, and stamping presses safely and efficiently. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements • Experience in operating OD/ID grinding equipment. • Knowledge of grinding processes and specifications. • Quality control and inspection skills. • Strong attention to detail and precision. • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Proper use of jib or overhead cranes.
