As a India Growth Operations Lead on the Product & Tech team at Reddit, you will be a key player on a cross-functional team and play a pivotal role in deepening Reddit’s global presence. This is not a marketing role. Instead, the objective will be to drive ecosystem growth by nurturing, and managing communities, developing win-win local partnerships, developing and executing on-ground initiatives, coordinating cross-functional efforts and spearheading growth efforts. 

You will forge influential partnerships on and off-platform to reach new users, grow the community ecosystem and create an inviting environment that attracts and retains a growing user base. By combining your growth-minded expertise with an entrepreneurial approach, you will contribute significantly to Reddit's mission of bringing community, belonging, and empowerment to everyone in the world. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive community strategies to grow and nurture local communities and maintain a healthy and thriving ecosystem
• Develop win-win partnerships with synergetic partners, creators and experts to drive growth 
• Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure local product-market fit and to execute on Go-To-Market efforts for various initiatives and products
• Steer and operationalize a small local community and content team to drive ecosystem growth and maintain overall ecosystem health (e.g. # of local communities, # of active moderators, DAU)
• Apply a creative, entrepreneurial approach, constantly driving your market pod and cross-functional partners to test and evaluate new ideas for local growth and engagement
• Execute comprehensive community strategies to grow and nurture local communities and maintain a healthy and thriving ecosystem
• Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure local product-market fit
• Analyze the content landscape and ecosystem to identify gaps and opportunities, ensuring Reddit meets local user needs and preferences
• Utilize your market expertise to identify trends, user behaviors, and growth opportunities: Understand the market’s "vibe" and adapt strategies accordingly

What We Expect From You:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; MBA is a plus
• Entrepreneurial spirit, strong execution skills and ability to take initiative and drive projects independently 
• Proven track record of developing and executing growth programs to drive impact at scale
• 7+ years of experience in growth or growth operations; with demonstrated experience of executing growth programs at scale 
• A healthy blend of operations, growth, and community/content expertise
• Data-driven and analytical mindset, and working knowledge of SQL
• Passion for combining systems-thinking with data analysis to drive impactful decisions
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, users, moderators, partners, content creators, and influencers
• Results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for execution and attention to detail
• Innate knowledge of  market culture including language, current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, topics of interest, and taboos
