📐 About this role

Every company grows differently, and we grow when we help our users write better, faster. We're looking for a hands-on growth leader to help us increase our reach and customer base.

As our first Growth Product Manager, you will be instrumental in our long-term product-led growth strategy around new user acquisition all the way through customer retention and expansion. This is the perfect role for someone who is passionate about delivering world-class customer experience.

You'll be reporting to our Director of Product and working closely with our founders as well as cross-departmentally with Sales, Marketing, CS and Engineering.

🦸🏻‍♀️ Your responsibilities

• Determine the vision, outcomes, and prioritization to increase the rate of growth across our existing channels and new use cases

• Identify key drivers and metrics of growth to increase conversion, expansion, and retention and drive execution through iterative testing and learning

• Provide direction to our designers and engineers to research, ideate, run user tests, ship MVPs, and scale successful solutions

• Conduct customer research to understand user behavior and engagement metrics, and competitive analysis

• Convert ambiguous problems into a prioritized roadmap of solutions, experiments, and research with minimal guidance

• Partner with executive stakeholders to identify and execute on critical opportunities to solve customer needs, drive business impact and realize Writer’s mission

• Understand the customer journey and onboarding experience to determine any friction points

⭐️ Is this you?

• 4+ years experience in product management, leading cross-functional product, design, and software engineering teams

• 2+ years experience in growth product management

• Bonus points if you have 1+ years experience working on AI/ML products

• Prior experience working at fast-paced startups

• Experience in making hard data-informed decisions (A/B experimentation, user research and testing, data analysis, competitors and market analysis, defining metrics)

• Proven ability to deeply understand analytics and use insights

• Experience in launching 0 to 1 products

• You know how to inspire, motivate and support a team to get things done
