Overview

Capital Women's Care is a premier OB/GYN network serving the Greater Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland region. Our GYN Oncology division (MAGOPSA) is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our busy practice. Full?Time | Fairfax, VA

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

* Provide comprehensive care for assigned patients in collaboration with supervising physicians, following established clinical standards, procedures, and protocols.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for surgical and oncology patients, including post?surgical management.
* Prescribe and manage drug therapies under physician direction and in accordance with clinical protocols.
* Conduct health assessments for patients with acute and chronic health conditions, with a focus on gynecologic oncology.
* Initiate and interpret selected diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, consultations, and laboratory studies.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate collaborative practice agreements in designated clinical areas.
* Educate and counsel patients and families on treatment options, surgical care, disease prevention, and health maintenance.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
* Serve as a clinical resource for staff and support ongoing education and training initiatives.
* Stay current with developments in oncology and evidence?based practices.
* Participate in approved clinical research studies as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Master's Degree and successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
* Certification and active license as a Nurse Practitioner (Required).
* Minimum of 2 years of oncology experience (Gynecologic Oncology preferred).

* Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem?solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel and support patients and families.
* Ability to thrive in a fast?paced clinical environment and manage complex patient needs.
