Job Description
Avant Gynecology is proud to be Atlanta's GYN and surgical specialists. With offices at Piedmont Hospital in Buckhead, Avant provides comprehensive gynecologic care and state-of-the-art surgery services. Our practice is seeking a full-time Gynecologist to join our team. We are looking for a physician who is a team player and adept at providing exceptional care to women at all stages of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine gynecological exams such as pelvic exams, pap testing, breast exams, STD screening, etc.
- Perform office procedures such as colposcopy, LEEP, cryotherapy, endometrial biopsy, hormone pellet insertion, IUD, and contraceptive implant insertion/removal, etc.
- Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D&Cβs, uterine ablations, Acessa, robotic surgeries, myomectomies, prolapse repair, etc.
- Counsel patients on contraceptive options, fertility treatments, lifestyle choices that impact reproductive health, hormone changes at different stages of life, etc.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on complex cases.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all patients.
Skills and Qualifications
- MD Medical degree and completion of a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology
- State licensure and board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, or board eligible
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Empathy, communication, and ability to build trust with patients
- Proficiency in performing gynecological procedures and surgeries
- Knowledge of advancements and current research in womenβs health
- Work as a team player with all staff members of a small office environment
